Mohan graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy from The Tn. Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, India.He is pursuing masters in occupational therapy through research for children with Autism in Trinity College, Dublin. He has extensive years of experience working worldwide including countries of Ireland, Canada, Caribbean islands, and India as a clinical specialist Occupational Therapist for children with special needs.

 

Mohan is adept in working with infants, children, adolescents, adults and elderly population with physical, sensory and intellectual disabilities and has extensive experience in using sensorimotor strategies for gross fine motor skill development for children with sensory processing difficulties.

Mohan has completed training in administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale (ADOS-2) and assists the team with Reach Children Services with Autism diagnostic assessments.

Mohan is registered with CORU ( Ireland’s Health and Social Care Professionals Regulator), member of Association of Occupational Therapist in Ireland ( AOTI) , Life member of Association of Occupational Therapist in India (AIOTA) and Sensory Integration network ( UK & Ireland) and also registered with Ontario Society of Occupational Therapist (OSOT) in Canada.

Mohan is presently completing a Masters Degree with Trinity College Dublin with a research paper in progress related to ADOLESCENTS WITH AUTISM, which keeps him updated with latest OT research & development and intervention and planning strategies for children with varied developmental difficulties.
